Seven Former High-Ranking PDRM Officers Expected to Join Opposition Party

KUALA LUMPUR – IAN has received information from internal sources and individuals close to former Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin regarding the joining of seven (7) former high-ranking Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers into one of the opposition parties. According to the sources, the group in question is led by a former director in a main PDRM department and is expected to announce their joining in the near future. This move is said to aim at helping to strengthen the opposition’s ranks in efforts to topple the government led by the Anwar Ibrahim Regime ahead of the 16th General Election (GE16).

The sources further claim that the decision by this group of former police officers was made after they expressed disappointment with the current developments within the PDRM, which is seen as being used as a political tool by the government to pressure opponents. According to the sources, the PDRM is now allegedly under the influence of syndicates that arrange appointments to key positions within the organization to continue illegal activities that harm the people.

“These former officers possess expertise in security and intelligence that has the potential to greatly impact the country’s political landscape. They are determined to assist the opposition in gathering data and evidence that can be used to uphold justice for the people,” said the source.

The sources understand that Muhyiddin Yassin believes the expertise and capabilities of the former High-Ranking Royal Malaysia Police Officers can make an impact on the Anwar Ibrahim regime, and it is also understood that there are several parliamentary seats available for them, who have been invited to join Bersatu to facilitate efforts to expose the misconduct of the Anwar Ibrahim Regime, thereby dragging Anwar Ibrahim and the syndicate he protects to the level of prosecution.
