Sepang – The police successfully neutralized three foreign criminals categorized as violent and dangerous in an incident at Desa Vista early this morning. The three male individuals, aged between 35 and 40, were believed to be actively involved in criminal activities, including robbery and burglary, across Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Kuala Lumpur since last year.
Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligence/Operations) at Bukit Aman, Datuk Fadil Marsus, reported that the suspects were detected hiding in a nearby forest after a failed attempt to rob a house in Desa Vista.
“The incident began when a house alarm went off, alerting the homeowner to the presence of masked individuals armed with machetes. Realizing they had been discovered, all suspects immediately fled and hid near a water tank,” he explained.
According to him, the homeowner promptly contacted the police, and a team from the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) was immediately deployed to track down the suspects.
“Through intelligence and information from the public, the police managed to locate them in the forest. However, when authorities attempted to apprehend them, the suspects acted aggressively by trying to attack with machetes,” he stated.
“In self-defense, the police were forced to open fire, resulting in the deaths of all three suspects at the scene.”
The suspects were identified as a violent criminal group that did not hesitate to injure victims who resisted. For example, in a robbery incident in Sungai Buloh, a victim sustained injuries after being slashed by this group.
Initial investigations revealed that this gang consisted of five individuals, and the police are actively tracking down the remaining two suspects still at large. The estimated losses caused by their crimes are believed to reach RM1 million.
The bodies of all suspects have been sent to Hospital Serdang for autopsy, and further investigations are ongoing.
